A boot that's easy to get on is only useful if it stays secure once you're walking. The Bata Mallee in Black (504-83022) gives women both. It has a YKK side zip for quick entry, and a lace-up front so you can fine-tune the fit around the ankle and instep. It's made on a ladies-specific fit with a steel safety toe cap and nubuck leather upper, and it's certified to AS 2210.3:2019.
The Mallee is aimed at tougher environments. It carries ASTM F2413-18 EH electrical hazard protection, and the rubber outsole is slip resistant (SRC) and heat resistant, with a Michelin rubber outsole feature listed by Bata. A TPU outer toe cap and an external scuff cap guard the toe against wear. The Cool Comfort lining, padded collar and tongue, and cushioned PU midsole and insole help keep the boot comfortable through a full shift.
